When you create an account, we collect the email address and username you sign up with, plus your password — we never see it in plain text, it's stored securely (encrypted) by our authentication provider, Supabase. If you subscribe to a membership, we also keep a record of your plan and subscription status (synced automatically from Lemon Squeezy), which designs you've bought, downloaded or liked, your monthly download count, and your notification preferences.
Signing in with Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares with us the basic information of your Google account: your email address, your name and your profile picture. We only use your email address, to create your AF Inventions account and sign you in. Your name and picture are saved automatically by our authentication provider (Supabase) as part of the standard Google sign-in, but we don't show them on the website or use them for anything else. We don't access any other Google data (like Gmail, Drive or contacts), we never sell or share it with anyone, and we don't use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see section 7).
Things you choose to share. If you post comments, upload a profile picture, share photos with the community or add a shop to the Authorized Shop Map, that content is shown on the website to other visitors, together with your username (or your shop's details). If you write to us through the website, we keep your message and email address so we can answer you. You can ask us to remove any of this at any time.
"Notify me" requests. If you ask to be told when a shop starts selling a design, we keep your email address (or your account, if you're signed in), the design and the country you chose, only to send you that email.
The website pages you're reading are hosted by Hostinger. Your account, subscription records, download history, and any files you submit (for example photos when applying to the Authorized Shop Map) are stored and managed by Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers located in the European Union (Ireland).
Standard connection data (such as IP addresses) may be temporarily processed by these providers to keep the website secure and working correctly.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use Google Analytics or any other outside analytics service.
Visit statistics. To know how many people visit the website, we use our own simple visit counter, which runs on our database (Supabase). It doesn't use cookies and doesn't save anything on your device. When you open a page, it records the page address, the design you're looking at (if any), your country (worked out from your connection, not your exact location), the website that sent you here (for example instagram.com) and whether you're signed in — but not who you are. It doesn't store your IP address: instead, it stores a short anonymous code calculated from your IP address and browser type together with a random key that changes every day. The keys of past days are erased after two days, so these codes can no longer be linked to anyone. While a page is open and visible, the counter also checks in once a minute, so we can see how many people are online right now. Known bots aren't counted.
Your browser's local storage is used only to keep you signed in and to remember a few of your own settings and actions in progress (like your chosen site color, or a checkout you just started). It isn't used to track you or for advertising.
Services that load parts of our pages. Like most websites, some parts of our pages come from other companies' servers. When your browser loads them, those companies receive your IP address and basic browser information, as happens with any website visit:

If you turn on "New design — by email" under My Account > Notifications, we'll send you an email whenever a new design is published — this is entirely optional and you can switch it off at any time from the same page. We may also occasionally email our members and customers about new designs and news from AF Inventions. Every new-design, news or promotional email has a link to unsubscribe in one click. The other optional emails (replies to your comments, new tutorials and AF Points) can be switched on or off under My Account > Notifications. Some emails are part of the service you use — for example about your purchases, downloads, membership or shop — and are sent only when needed. You can also ask us to stop at any time by writing to af.inventions.info@gmail.com. Our emails are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider.
Membership checkout and payment processing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you subscribe, you are directed to their secure checkout. We do not process or store your payment details on the AF Inventions website.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, by writing to af.inventions.info@gmail.com. We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and remove it within a reasonable time after you ask us to delete it — except where we're required to keep certain records (for example invoices) for tax purposes. If you believe your data hasn't been handled correctly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority.
